No, receiving payments outside the platform is strictly prohibited.

All payments have to go through the platform, and with our payment processor, Stripe, the event organizer as well as the vendor can be sure any payments made are directly deposited to the vendor.

If you get booked on the site, the site automatically takes the payment. We release the payment 2-7 days after the booking is complete. That means checks won’t bounce, and payments won’t need to be chased down.

*Vendors may require a refundable day-of security/damage deposit from organizers in the form of a check or credit card authorization such as Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, etc. At this time, Eventors does not support processing these refundable deposits through our online and mobile applications.
