Vendors
The health and safety of our event organizers and vendors are at the forefront of our attention during these unknown times. Let’s work together to limit the spread of COVID-19 during your booking.
COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures
According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the coronavirus can spread by surface contact. We’ve compiled research to provide the following guidelines to help you reduce the spread of infection. These guidelines are meant to help you, your staff, and the guests stay safe, but your local and state officials may require additional measures to be taken.
Cleaning
Limit the spread of COVID-19 through surface contact by doing the following:
Clean and disinfect any equipment, rentals, vehicles, etc. in accordance with CDC guidelines
Disinfect high touch surfaces and shared amenities during the event
Professionally clean any equipment, rentals, vehicles, etc. yourself, or hire a licensed professional cleaner between bookings
Space bookings apart to allow for enhanced cleaning of equipment, rentals, vehicles, etc.
Protective Gear and Hygiene
To limit the spread of COVID-19 while at the event, make sure to bring:
Disinfecting wipes
Disinfecting spray and paper towels
Disposable gloves
Disposable masks
Hand sanitizer
Social Distancing
Helping attendees maintain distance can also help. Here’s what you can do:
Put up sneeze guards or screens, if applicable
Serve one attendee at a time
Space out table and/or seating rentals according to the CDC guidelines
Signage
Posting educational information will keep guests informed. Here’s what you can add to your work space:
Six-foot markers on the floors around your station, if applicable
A detailed checklist of your updated cleaning procedure
FAQs
Should I make arrangements to bring any protective personal gear?
Make sure to confirm with the event organizer what protective gear you’ll be bringing, and what is expected from the organizer and their guests.
What can my staff and I do to stay safe during a booking?
Wear a mask, increase outdoor air flow, maintain physical distance, and wash your hands.
How can I document that I have properly cleaned my rentals/equipment/vehicle?
In addition to posting signage about your cleaning procedures, you can also take time-stamped photos of your rentals/equipment/vehicle after you’re done cleaning. Those will help in the case of a dispute.
