Two quick listing sections set your service area and your fine print. In Location you set the address Eventors uses to place you on the map and measure travel to each event, plus an optional per-mile travel rate. In Important Info you add your rules, your maximum event size, a cancellation policy, and - if you have it - your business insurance. This guide walks through both.
What you'll learn
- How to set your Address and why Eventors uses it
- How to charge for travel with a Transportation rate per mile
- How to set Rules and terms, Max guests per event, and a Cancellation policy
- How uploading Business insurance earns an Insurance Verified badge
Location
- Open the Location section from the listing editor.
- Set your Address. Eventors uses it to place you on the map and to measure travel distance to each organizer's event. (Add a Suite / unit if the address lookup doesn't capture it.)
- If you charge for travel, set your Transportation rate per mile (USD) - it's added automatically at checkout based on the distance to the event. Leave it at 0 if travel is on you.
- Click Save location.
Important Info
- Open the Important Info section.
- Add your Rules and terms - house rules or terms specific to your service, so organizers know what to expect before they book.
- Set Max guests per event - the largest event size you can serve, so you're not matched to events beyond your capacity. Leave it blank if you have no limit.
- Choose a Cancellation policy from the dropdown. Stricter policies (like 90-day) protect your calendar; more flexible ones (like 2-day) can attract more bookings.
- Optionally upload your Business insurance - a certificate of insurance or the license your service requires (PDF), for example general liability or a liquor license. Only the Eventors team sees the file; once verified, your listing earns an Insurance Verified badge that reassures organizers.
- Click Save important info.
Good to know
- The address powers travel fees and map placement - an accurate address means accurate travel distance and a correct pin.
- A travel rate of 0 means no travel charge - set a per-mile rate only if you want travel billed automatically at checkout.
- Cancellation policy is a trade-off - stricter tiers protect your schedule, flexible tiers win more bookings. Pick what fits your business.
- Insurance is optional but builds trust - customers only ever see the badge, never your document, and it's especially useful for bar, catering, and other higher-liability services.
- The Public office / support number here is optional and shown publicly; your private booking-notification number lives in Account Settings.
